Desjardins Group, North America’s largest association of credit unions serving millions of members, provides banking, insurance, real estate and venture-capital products. Its Risk-Sharing Program needed to manage enterprise-wide risk, insurance, claims and loss control across this broad and diverse portfolio.

The program implemented a repeatable risk-management process and a risk-transfer structure to standardize loss controls and mitigate exposures. This approach earned the group 2015 RMM Recognition and improved its ability to manage products and services while reducing operational risk.
