How BCU is Operationalizing Their GRC Vision, Continuously Improving, and Efficiently Scaling

BCU, a not-for-profit, member-owned credit union with more than $6B in assets and nearly 360,000 members, needed to scale its risk and compliance programs as it grew and faced changing regulatory requirements. To address gaps in process governance, vendor oversight, and regulatory readiness, BCU partnered with LogicGate and its Technical Account Manager (TAM) services, using LogicGate’s Risk Cloud platform to build a more cohesive, scalable GRC program.

With LogicGate’s support, BCU automated and standardized key workflows across vendor risk, policy, business continuity, and regulatory exam management, while also improving reporting, third-party governance, and risk visibility. The results included cutting the critical business function review process by 50 hours annually, reducing manual work each exam cycle, improving board and management reporting, and achieving zero exam findings in the previously problematic domains.
