Case Study: Kroger expands online assortment and boosts eCommerce revenue with Logicbroker's automated drop-ship solution

A Logicbroker Case Study

Preview of the Kroger Case Study

Kroger opened up an endless aisle of inventory with a fully-automated drop ship solution powered by Logicbroker

Kroger, America’s largest grocery retailer, sought to expand its online assortment and compete in the marketplace ecosystem without expanding warehouse capacity. To enable a seamless, scalable drop‑ship program and overcome internal IT barriers, Kroger partnered with Logicbroker to deploy a fully automated drop‑ship solution and accelerate vendor onboarding.

Logicbroker delivered the platform, dedicated onboarding resources, a branded knowledgebase and support channels, and automation (including SLA‑driven order cancellation) to integrate vendors quickly under a no‑cost model. The pilot scaled into regular waves of onboarding, resulting in expanded assortment, year‑over‑year eCommerce sales growth, weekly addition of new vendors, improved visibility into vendor performance, and the ability for Kroger to grow its supplier base with no additional supplier fees.
