Cathay Bank, a financial institution expanding both domestically and internationally, faced the challenge of building out the IT infrastructure for its new corporate headquarters while its internal IT team remained focused on daily operations. The bank engaged vendor Logicalis to design and implement the new data center, cabling infrastructure, and a converged IP network, including a state-of-the-art IP video solution for collaboration.

Logicalis designed and managed the entire project, from the initial data center architecture to the installation of wired/wireless networks and the IP phone system. Their team also expertly managed the seamless relocation of over 300 staff members. The solution enabled significant productivity gains, particularly through the new IP video system which saved executives time and money on travel for meetings as far away as Hong Kong.
