A Logi Analytics Case Study
Pegasus Health is a New Zealand not‑for‑profit that supports 105 general practices serving over 366,000 patients. Its governing board wanted to improve clinical and business quality across primary care, but needed a browser‑based, easy‑to‑use BI solution that could access many disparate data sources, protect patient information, avoid client installs and per‑user licensing, and be cost‑effective for widespread rollout.
Using Logi Info, Pegasus built GPVu, a web portal fed by SSIS into a central data warehouse that aggregates SQL Server, Access, spreadsheets and hospital feeds to deliver near‑real‑time KPIs and anonymous peer comparisons. The icon-driven, no‑client UI was rapidly developed and easily deployed, drove strong clinician engagement, enabled practical care improvements (for example, recalling diabetics for annual checks), and delivered strong ROI, scalability and data governance for protected health information.
