New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions uses Logi Report to ensure benefits and services are available to the state’s unemployed workers

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions Unemployment Insurance Bureau, which administers benefits for more than 50,000 unemployed workers, needed to modernize its UI Claims Application Reengineering Project (UICARP) to deliver a one‑stop web service. The bureau faced the challenge of producing and maintaining hundreds of state and federal mandated reports (with formats that change frequently), while supporting a 100% J2EE environment, WebSphere integration and XML data from up to 6,000 daily claims—something their static mainframe reporting tools made slow and labor‑intensive.

The department selected Logi Report for its J2EE compatibility and WebSphere integration and deployed Logi Report Designer and Server to create reusable, visual report templates that can be edited on the fly and delivered in HTML, Excel or PDF. The new solution manages 100+ report templates, automates distribution to state and federal agencies, halved report design/test/deploy time (a 50% reduction in developer labor) and doubled developer productivity, enabling faster, more accurate reporting and timelier benefit payments.
