Multiquip, a global manufacturer of construction equipment, generators and lighting founded in 1973, struggled with SAP’s built-in reporting, which was costly, hard to deploy, resource intensive and offered poor visualizations. To work around it the company relied on batch-printed Excel sheets, a slow, laborious and non-interactive process that hindered timely decision making.
Multiquip implemented Logi Analytics’ Logi Info—an easy-to-deploy, low‑maintenance BI platform—completing the rollout in a few months with part-time internal effort and vendor support. Using SAP as the data source they built executive dashboards, territory maps, backlog and logistics reports, and a web-based iPad sales app tied to CRM and the data mart; the solution improved forecasting, accountability and decision making, is in use by 30 internal users with plans to expand to 100+ users and add customer-facing portals and a 360° customer view.
