Boston College University Libraries Revolutionize Access and Distribution Through Mobile Devices

Boston College University Libraries faced the challenge of providing secure, easy access to library information and services for thousands of students, faculty, and librarians across many devices. After evaluating BI options, they chose Logi Analytics’ Logi Symphony to deliver mobile BI, interactive reports, and self-service access quickly and affordably.

Logi Analytics implemented the solution in about two months with one developer, integrating data from three Oracle-based applications into mobile apps for students and librarians. The result was mobile access for more than 14,000 students, 120 librarians, and 1,000 faculty members, improving service availability, increasing study room bookings and visitor utilization, and enabling anytime, anywhere access without requiring an app store.
