Traxo, a travel-data aggregation company serving corporate travel, expense and risk-management customers, needed reliable 24/7 visibility into a complex multi-region AWS environment running Nomad, Vault, Consul and containerized microservices. Its homegrown StatsD/Graphite setup struggled with tagging, segmentation and manual troubleshooting, creating a need for a scalable, integrated monitoring solution that would reduce operational overhead and improve incident response.
Traxo adopted the SolarWinds web APM portfolio—AppOptics (Librato), Loggly and Pingdom—to gain tagged metrics, dashboards, distributed tracing, centralized logs and external uptime checks with alerting to Slack and PagerDuty. The result was faster root-cause identification and incident resolution, lower support costs, searchable offsite logs for compliance, and a public status page that supports SLAs and customer transparency.
