Speedway Motors, America’s Oldest Speed Shop, runs a large, complex e-commerce site with millions of pages and tens of thousands of products. As it prepared to replace its old site with a custom distributed platform, the team faced a major gap in log management: no central way to see or analyze errors, meaning operational issues often went unnoticed until customers reported them — a risk to revenue and the customer experience.
Speedway adopted Loggly during testing and implemented JSON logging across services, integrated alerts with PagerDuty and AWS CloudWatch, and built dashboards and saved searches to trigger notifications for key failures.
