Keeping Pace With Customer Label Demands While Saving Time and Money

Trek Bicycle Corporation, a global leader in bicycles and cycling products, needed a way to avoid manufacturing disruption, meet unique customer and regional labeling requirements, streamline warehouse operations, and simplify its retail labeling program across more than 5,000 dealers worldwide. Trek partnered with Loftware to support enterprise labeling across its manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and retail environments.

Loftware implemented an enterprise labeling solution integrated with Trek’s JD Edwards system, using configurable business rules, on-demand label printing, and a centralized platform for upstream and downstream labeling. The results included reducing customer label templates from 500 to 1, enabling business users to update labels without IT, maintaining 100% uptime, and printing over 10 million labels globally, while improving efficiency, responsiveness, and compliance across Trek’s supply chain.
