San Jose Water Company, which serves over 1 million people in the greater San Jose area, needed a more robust way to manage routine and ad hoc drinking-water sampling, regulatory compliance and reporting (including the annual Consumer Confidence Report and monthly coliform reports), and to integrate GIS and advanced analytics. They sought automation from sample planning through reporting to replace spreadsheets and shared drives and selected Locus Technologies’ Locus EIM Water (with Locus Mobile) to meet those needs.
