mobileStorm, a cloud-based Mobile Experience Management (MXM) platform provider, needed precise location context to deliver timely, targeted SMS offers for casino and gaming customers who required messages only for patrons on or near their properties. To remain competitive and comply with industry regulations while improving engagement, mobileStorm had to obtain accurate, opt-in location information across carriers.

mobileStorm implemented LocationSmart’s cross-carrier network location service via LocationSmart’s cloud-based platform and RESTful APIs to obtain real-time lat/long coordinates, geofencing and consent management for opted-in users. As a result, campaign delivery for 3,000+ users dropped from 2–3 hours to 5–10 minutes, opt-out rates fell by about 72% per campaign, and casino clients reported higher end-user satisfaction; the integration also expanded mobileStorm’s MXM capabilities with un-spoofable location data and faster deployments.
