Science World British Columbia, a charitable organization at Telus World of Science, wanted a mobile game that would encourage visitors to interact with its “Zoom Into Nano” exhibit and explore hidden “Nano” items in a way that enhanced the museum experience. Working with Locatify, the museum used the Locatify TurfHunt app and Creator CMS to build an indoor scavenger hunt centered on the exhibit.

Locatify implemented a BLE beacon-powered scavenger hunt with an indoor floor map, using transparent PNG station images that remained invisible until visitors approached the right beacon. The result was an interactive educational game that guided guests through the exhibit and prompted active exploration; while no specific usage metrics were provided, the project successfully delivered a more engaging, hands-on visitor experience.
