ON Power launches a 15-station audio guide with Locatify

ON Power, a leading Icelandic power company and world leader in geothermal energy, needed an intuitive audio guide app for its geothermal exhibition. They partnered with Locatify to create a mobile application for Android and iOS that would guide visitors through the exhibit and complement existing displays.

Locatify implemented a multimedia guide app featuring a zoomable indoor map with 15 clickable stations to play audio and view information. The solution was deployed in two phases, with the initial phase allowing manual triggering of content and a planned second phase to add BLE beacons for automatic content triggering based on visitor proximity. The app was successfully launched for free on both major mobile platforms, receiving positive guest feedback for its contribution to the exhibition experience.
