Friend in Iceland launches free iOS and Android travel app with Locatify

Friend in Iceland, a local tour agency, partnered with the car rental franchisee Holdur. They faced the challenge of providing a complete guidance and communication experience for their self-drive tour customers in Iceland, while also creating new revenue streams. They turned to the vendor Locatify for a solution.

Locatify implemented a white-label tourist guide app using their Automatic Tourist Guide template and Creator CMS. The solution provided GPS-guided tours, an interactive map, bookable activities via API, and safety information. This enabled the customer to easily manage content and generate commission from in-app bookings, enhancing the tourist experience while creating additional business revenue.
