The challenge was to harmonize multiple fulfillment options like ship-to-home and BOPIS into a single cart, facilitate mixed-cart transactions, manage payments for local dealers, and provide a consistent global experience. They partnered with Locally to address these complex retail and technological hurdles.
Locally provided its core tools, including its Product Locator API and payment integration system, to unify Trek's online and offline inventory into a single, seamless shopping journey. This solution processed payments for local dealers while maintaining Trek's brand control and ensured global compliance and scalability. The results included an improved customer journey, strengthened retailer relationships, and a unified technology platform ready for international expansion across over 30 countries.
