Morrisons, one of the UK’s leading food retailers, needed a stronger digital presence after realizing they weren’t showing up well in Google search and that their existing store finder wasn’t enough to stay competitive. Working with Localistico, they set out to improve search visibility, keep location data accurate across channels, and gain better insight into customer engagement through tools including Location & Presence Management, Reputation Management, Google Posts, and Local Analytics.

Localistico helped Morrisons manage more than 850 location profiles, launch Google Posts campaigns, and track performance across platforms, enabling faster updates during COVID-19 and better communication of opening hours and services. The results were significant: search reach increased by 150% in the first year, impressions rose 44%, customer actions grew 26%, and a December 2020 Google Posts campaign generated 142,800 post views in one month.
