Telecom Liechtenstein keeps its customers’ businesses running

Telecom Liechtenstein AG needed to offer a high-availability Microsoft Windows Desktop Software-as-a-Service for demanding commercial customers (such as financial services) and eliminate scheduled downtime during server maintenance. To meet those requirements it evaluated virtualized load balancers and selected Loadbalancer.org, choosing the Loadbalancer.org Enterprise VA R20 for its Nutanix compatibility, responsive GUI and open-source ethos.

Loadbalancer.org deployed the Enterprise VA R20 (initial capacity 200 users) and later added a second virtual appliance to balance traffic for Exchange and the DMZ, delivered a custom health-check script, and provided clear documentation and responsive support. As a result Telecom Liechtenstein AG launched the new desktop SaaS quickly, achieved unfailing performance, and can perform routine maintenance without scheduled downtime, while extending high availability across its services.
