Case Study: Fluid Networks achieves a stable, scalable cloud-based medical platform and five-fold user growth with Loadbalancer.org Enterprise AWS

A Loadbalancer.org Case Study

Preview of the Fluid Networks Case Study

Fluid Networks creates a stable and scalable cloud-based platform for hosted medical application

Fluid Networks, a US managed‑services provider, was commissioned to host a cloud-based medical application for doctors and clinicians but found Amazon’s native load balancer limited sessions to 23 minutes — far short of the 12+ hour connections and scalable performance required. To address this, Fluid Networks selected Loadbalancer.org’s Enterprise AWS cloud load‑balancing solution.

Loadbalancer.org deployed two Enterprise AWS instances in an active/passive configuration and took over load balancing at gateway, broker and session‑host levels (removing Microsoft’s balancers), delivering a stable, easy‑to‑manage RDS environment. The Loadbalancer.org solution supported growth from a few hundred to several thousand daily users (approximately a five‑fold increase) over three years, improved reliability, and provided fast, expert support when needed.
