Case Study: Cefaly improves migraine management with LOAD's mobile app

Cefaly launches a dual-platform migraine app with LOAD, built to ISO13485 and IEC62304 standards

LOAD was approached by Cefaly, a European-American health products company, to create the world's best migraine management app. The challenge was to design and develop a mobile application that would help patients better manage their migraine activity and treatment, supporting a community of sufferers and connecting to Cefaly's proprietary device via Bluetooth.

LOAD designed and developed Cece, a hybrid mobile application for iOS and Android. The solution features an easy onboarding process, real-time logging of attacks, and personalized insights to help users identify triggers and track treatment effectiveness. Critically, LOAD developed the app to comply with ISO13485 and IEC62304 standards, preparing it to be certified as a medical device in the future.
