Biorithm launches Femom with LOAD, moving from first app version to market-ready remote obstetric monitoring

The customer Biorithm, an e-Health company, challenged the vendor LOAD to design and develop a mobile application that would serve as an interface between expectant mothers and a fetal monitor. The app needed to securely retrieve and send data to a backend platform, requiring it to be developed as a certified medical device.

LOAD developed the Android mobile application, named Femom, which complied with the ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and ISO 14971 standards for medical devices. The solution provided a comprehensive remote obstetric monitoring platform. After the successful initial development, LOAD handed over the source code and documentation to Biorithm's internal team. The Femom solution is currently on the market, providing clinicians with new insights and offering expectant mothers better access to healthcare.
