Tecton relies on LMS365 for specialized training for its unique manufacturing process

Tecton Products, a Fargo-based manufacturer of custom fiberglass pultrusions, needed a robust way to train employees on its unique pultrusion process but had no true LMS. Prior to 2018 the company relied on an outdated Compliance Suite, a custom SQL app, paper sign-in sheets and Excel spreadsheets, which made tracking attendance, certifications and 24/7 scheduling slow, error-prone and labor intensive.

After evaluating options, Tecton implemented LMS365 — a SharePoint-based, customizable LMS that supports SCORM, Active Directory grouping and document control integration — to centralize learning. Within months weekly safety and job-specific training were tracked end-to-end, the company saved thousands in training costs, expanded cross-training and gamified content, automated certification renewals and classroom attendance (via badge readers), and enabled employees and managers to see and act on missed training; Tecton also plans to use LMS365 to automate pre-employment testing.
