Florida Department of Agriculture - Customer Case Study

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) is a state government agency of roughly 4,000 staff responsible for agriculture and consumer services across Florida. Facing rapid growth, inconsistent training quality, siloed information, and difficulty with onboarding/offboarding and tracking/reporting, leadership sought a user-friendly learning solution that could leverage their recent investment in SharePoint.

Working with Immersion Technology Services, FDACS implemented LMS365 on SharePoint to create Ag Academy as a single source for training. They moved New Employee Orientation and required annual trainings into the system, enabled SCORM/multimedia content, learning paths, reporting, and Outlook synchronization, and now use LMS365 for registration, tracking and approvals; next phases will train division representatives to upload content and expand Ag Academy to external users with the long-term goal of a single statewide certification tracking system.
