Fieldale Farms automates and tracks company-wide training with LMS365

Fieldale Farms, a large independent poultry processor, faced mounting challenges managing employee training without a formal LMS. Certification and expiration tracking relied on spreadsheets, shared folders, an AS400 app and paper sign-offs, which made compliance, record retention and measuring learning outcomes difficult—especially across a diverse workforce with limited computer and language skills. The company needed an easy-to-use, supported system that would deliver long-term ROI and improve training automation.

After sandbox testing, Fieldale selected LMS365 On‑Premises and rolled it out in phases, starting with 1,500 users, 10 kiosks and a full‑time LMS administrator to manage courseware and users. The platform automated onboarding and annual compliance training, improved tracking of training history, increased engagement and knowledge retention, and provided scheduling flexibility and course completion certificates. Adapting content for low-literacy and non‑native speakers was a challenge but enabled more effective, personalized learning and a move toward paper‑free training records.
