Netchex, a provider of payroll and HR software for small to medium-sized businesses, faced a challenge as their clients' HR teams were overwhelmed by employee queries. Despite having detailed documentation, these companies lacked an efficient way to provide quick answers. Netchex turned to LlamaIndex to build an AI-powered solution to streamline HR processes and improve employee self-service.

Using LlamaIndex, Netchex developed the AskHR + Netchex AI application. The solution employed LlamaIndex's ingestion pipelines and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to provide accurate, cited answers from company documents. This implementation, completed by just two engineers in a month, resulted in the industry's first such solution, leading to a significant increase in HR productivity and greater employee engagement with the Netchex platform.
