Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, a hospital in Sleepy Hollow, New York, was facing challenges with patient and visitor navigation as its facilities expanded. The initial solution of paper maps became insufficient for a growing campus that included a larger emergency department and additional buildings. The hospital contacted vendor Livewire Digital to find a better solution using its eConcierge suite.

Livewire Digital implemented interactive kiosks featuring a wayfinding application and digital maps at the hospital's three main entrances. This allowed visitors to find locations and search directories much more easily than with traditional maps. Phelps also installed six digital signs to provide updated information and event notices.
