The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) needed to improve its live streaming capabilities to share digital assets from remote areas of the Everglades. Their initial solution, the LiveU Solo, was sufficient for simple streams but became inadequate as their projects grew more complex. They required multiple cameras, higher quality streams, and more reliable connectivity in challenging locations to support their conservation and water resource management mission.

SFWMD upgraded to the LiveU LU800, a solution that met all their advanced requirements. The unit was mounted in a mobile truck, enabling high-quality, reliable 5G-powered live productions across South Florida. This allowed the team to live produce entire events on-site, dramatically improving the speed and performance of their streaming system. LiveU provided the mission-critical transmission needed to confidently scale their productions and share content without fear of the stream failing.
