Rocket Beans Relies on LiveU Technology for Next-level Remote Production of the Gamevasion Championships

Rocket Beans TV, a German entertainment company, faced the challenge of breaking traditional patterns for its gaming show coverage. They wanted a completely mobile production setup to move their Gamevasion Championships out of the studio and into various locations across Hamburg. Their goal was to cover not only the live games but also the dynamic action in-between, such as a "streaming road trip," to create a new level of fan engagement.

The solution was implemented using LiveU's IP video technology, specifically their LU600 and LU800 field units. By deploying 12 units, LiveU enabled multiple camera crews to transmit high-quality, broadcast-grade live video from challenging mobile locations, including a moving rollercoaster and a tour bus that was converted into a mobile studio. This LiveU technology facilitated a completely remote production, resulting in a successful, uninterrupted three-hour live show that marked a new milestone for the customer.
