Bill Young Productions (BYP), a production company, faced a critical challenge when a key explosive specialist for an oil rig decommissioning was forced into quarantine. Their client, an oil and gas corporation, needed to avoid costly project delays. BYP was tasked with finding a way to enable real-time, two-way communication and video between the quarantined team and the personnel on the rig to supervise the process.

Using a LiveU LU600 HEVC portable transmission unit and satellite modem, LiveU provided the ultra-low latency streaming solution.
