Preview of the Esport1 Case Study

Esport1 relies on the LiveU EcoSystem to remotely produce the OGEX Gaming Expo in Hungary

Esport1, a major Hungarian esports and gaming media company, faced a significant challenge when producing the OGEX Gaming Expo. With their studio located across Budapest from the event venue, they needed to achieve a high-quality broadcast without moving their entire technical team and equipment. The key hurdles included transmitting multiple synchronized camera feeds and audio from the remote location back to their studio reliably, despite the on-site connectivity challenges of an offline LAN tournament.

The solution was implemented using LiveU's technology, specifically the LiveU EcoSystem and LU800 field units. By deploying three LiveU LU800 encoders on-site, Esport1 was able to transmit fully synchronized multi-camera video with embedded audio directly to their studio for remote production. This LiveU solution drastically reduced tech setup time and costs, eliminated the need to relocate staff and equipment, and provided the stable, high-quality transmission required for a successful remote broadcast.
