Entertainment Weekly faced significant challenges while covering New York Comic Con, including limited space for production equipment and unreliable internet bandwidth at their hotel suite. They needed an efficient way to produce and stream high-quality, back-to-back live interviews to their social media platforms without delays or buffering. To overcome this, they worked with vendor LiveU and its LU800 encoder.

The solution involved using four LiveU units to capture multiple camera angles and ensure a reliable, synchronized connection with ultra-low latency. This allowed a remote production team to seamlessly edit between angles and deliver flawless, high-caliber live streams. LiveU's technology enabled Entertainment Weekly to successfully cover the event with a minimal on-site staff while achieving a broadcast with beautiful image quality and no loss of sync.
