EVERTOP, a pioneering sports production company in China, faced the challenge of covering the Chengdu Marathon with a low production budget. Traditional broadcast transmission methods like satellite were too costly and complex for such an event. They needed a flexible, cost-effective solution to deliver high-quality, multi-camera remote production from the marathon course.

LiveU implemented its LU800 PRO4 production-level field unit for EVERTOP. The solution provided four fully frame-synced HD feeds from a single portable backpack, transmitted reliably using bonded 5G and 4G connectivity. This enabled EVERTOP to receive synchronized, low-delay signals from multiple camera angles directly to their production OB van, acting as a simplified mobile production facility and delivering a unique viewer experience.
