The digital sports content company Moonsport faced the challenge of cost-effectively live streaming the Rugby Africa Cup, which involved matches played thousands of kilometers apart, to a centralized feed for their Facebook page.
To solve this, Moonsport deployed LiveU's LU600 HEVC units and a remote production (REMI) solution. LiveU's technology successfully transported high-quality live feeds from across Africa back to their main studio in Cape Town. This LiveU solution was described by the company's director as a "game-changer" that would alter broadcasting, enabling them to bring the matches to millions of fans.
