LiveSwitch Enables Appinux® to Provide Customizable Video Solutions to Telehealth Programs

Appinux® is a software development company working with Denmark municipalities to build telehealth solutions. When one municipality needed a video-enabled home health program that would work across all browsers and devices, including iOS, Appinux® struggled to add video to its existing applications and spent more than a year trying unsuccessfully with another vendor. LiveSwitch provided the video technology needed for the project.

Using LiveSwitch’s APIs and media pipeline, Appinux® quickly built a customizable video solution that integrated in just two months and worked reliably on all devices, especially iOS. The result was a successful home health program now handling about 4,000 video calls per month, supporting care for patients while saving travel time for providers. LiveSwitch also helped Appinux® expand video capabilities across many of its other applications, and the company now serves 30 municipalities and two regions in Denmark.
