Ulta Beauty Exceeds Customer’s Expectations with Liveclicker

Ulta Beauty, the largest beauty retailer in the U.S., wanted to make its email marketing more engaging, improve the customer experience, and streamline internal processes while boosting click-through rates, conversions, loyalty, and sales. To meet these goals, Ulta Beauty partnered with LiveClicker and used its RealTime Email platform to create more personalized campaigns.

Using LiveClicker’s LiveImage element, Ulta Beauty built highly personalized “Year in Review” emails for Ultamate Rewards members that dynamically pulled in real-time customer data, and it also improved its “Beauty Break” promotions with moment-of-open targeting and fallback messaging. The results were strong: LiveClicker emails drove much higher open and click-through rates, recipients spent nearly triple the time in the “Year in Review” email—close to 20 seconds versus the average Ulta email—and customers continued engaging with the emails days after deployment.
