NASCAR, the sanctioning body for U.S. stock car racing and owner of premier motorsport facilities, was already using personalized triggered emails to promote birthday offers, but wanted to make those messages more engaging and drive even stronger revenue. To do that, NASCAR worked with LiveClicker to explore adding interactivity to its birthday campaigns and increase customer clickthroughs and conversions.
Using the LiveClicker platform, NASCAR tested a static birthday discount email against a “peel-to-reveal” mystery offer that turned the promotion into a more interactive experience. LiveClicker helped NASCAR achieve a 19.2% average increase in CTR, a 94% year-over-year increase in conversions, and a 308% increase in revenue, along with a 161% increase in site visits and 406% more orders.
