Professional Standards Authority (PSA) is an independent organization focused on protecting patients, service users, and the public through better regulation and registration in health and care. As part of its cloud strategy and office relocation program, PSA worked with Littlefish to address a disproportionately large on-premises infrastructure estate, legacy centralized security approaches, and a need to better support hybrid working and modern Microsoft-based services.

Littlefish designed and implemented a largely serverless, service-oriented cloud transformation using Microsoft 365 and Azure, helping PSA remove on-premises infrastructure and offsite DR, improve backup and device management, enable secure BYOD and hybrid collaboration, and consolidate licensing from Sophos AV to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. The result was a more efficient, boundaryless IT environment with lower storage and maintenance overheads, better use of PSA’s existing Microsoft E5 investment, and improved flexibility for future digital growth.
