A Littlefish Case Study
The Food Standards Agency (FSA), the UK government department responsible for food safety and hygiene, needed a more flexible and innovative IT environment to support 1,200 staff across multiple offices and facilities. FSA wanted to move away from a single-source ICT model toward a multi-supplier approach that would improve control, enable location-independent working, and support new ways of working. Littlefish was selected to help deliver this change through managed IT services.
Littlefish will provide Service Desk, End User Compute, and Network Infrastructure Management services, alongside transformation projects including a Microsoft Office 365 migration and an End User Device Estate refresh. The goal is to improve mobile and remote working, collaboration, agility, and service quality while supporting cost efficiency and user wellbeing. The case study does not give specific numerical results yet, but Littlefish says the new model is designed to enhance user experience, boost productivity, and enable innovation across the FSA.
