Bristol Energy choose Littlefish for creation and execution of a new, flexible and scalable IT support function

Bristol Energy, a fast-growing council-owned gas and electricity supplier, needed a flexible, scalable IT partner to support its rapid expansion without investing in a large in-house IT department. Littlefish was selected through the G-Cloud framework to provide outsourced managed IT services, including cloud-first infrastructure planning and support.

Littlefish implemented a Microsoft Azure-based cloud infrastructure, on-site network and firewall connectivity, standard laptop builds, and a 24/7/365 Service Desk supported by a dedicated “pod” model and Littlefish Live chat. The results included 91% first-point resolution, 97% positive feedback, and support for 60 pressing issues in a year, while Bristol Energy gained a highly scalable service that was roughly equivalent in cost to two full-time staff but delivered the breadth of a full support team.
