Temple Beth Am ratchets up their giving with help from LGL

Temple Beth Am, a synagogue in north Seattle serving 920 families, needed a way to identify and cultivate members who could increase their giving across dues, annual fund, capital campaigns and events. Director of Development Jenna Sytman and her team had rich historical giving data but lacked a flexible tool to analyze it by family and giving channel and then turn those insights into targeted asks.

Using Little Green Light, they imported historical contributions, built donor profiles, and segmented supporters by interests and affinity groups to organize volunteer-led house parties and targeted solicitations (sharing profiles as PDFs or directly in LGL). The result was a projected $1 million increase in dues over three years (about a 25% annual boost) and a 33% growth in the annual giving fund, enabled by LGL’s ability to analyze, sort and reimport data for action.
