Maryland Hillel needed a way to send customized emails to many thousands of constituents based on their relationships to the organization (for example, parents but not alumni). Managing and segmenting those lists across systems had been time-consuming and error-prone.

They use Little Green Light to create detailed segments (using attributes like parent, donor, alum) and sync those segments with MailChimp. Lists are managed in LGL and automatically kept in sync with MailChimp, letting the team send four targeted newsletters (students, parents, donors, alumni) without manual updates — a faster, simpler workflow that replaced their old system.
