Case Study: Sant Bani School achieves 30-second, Excel-free monthly deposit reports with Little Green Light

Custom reporting saves valuable time for the Sant Bani School development coordinator

Little Green Light, a donor-management platform, helped the Sant Bani School streamline its monthly reconciliation process after development coordinator Megan Farkas grew tired of exporting CSVs, cleaning them in Excel, and manually reconciling gifts between the donor system and accounting. The double-entry workflow added hours to both development and finance each month, so the school asked for a cleaner, print-ready report.

Little Green Light worked with Megan to create a custom “Deposits” PDF export that pulls last month’s deposit data and produces a finished report in about 30 seconds (filter by deposit date → Export results → Download/print). The new workflow eliminates manual cleanup, saves staff time, and will soon be automated so the report can be emailed at the start of each month along with other upcoming reporting improvements.
