ServiceMax, a cloud field‑service software provider, needed a scalable way to boost internal knowledge and create paid certification programs for customers. The company wanted an LMS that was easy for admins and learners, supported course certificates, eCommerce and Salesforce integrations, bulk learner uploads, and single sign‑on to supplement existing face‑to‑face training and drive customer engagement.

ServiceMax selected SAP Litmos, rolling out role‑based learning paths with teams and sub‑teams and positive feedback on the user interface and admin views. With SSO and integrations in place, more than 300 employees are using the LMS, and ServiceMax plans three customer certification programs; the company expects revenue to grow from $250K last year to about $1M this year (a fourfold increase) while increasing customer engagement and buy‑in.
