CPS HR Consulting is a self-supporting public agency that provides integrated HR solutions and soft-skills training to government and nonprofit clients. After launching its training business in 2004 on a homegrown registration system, CPS HR outgrew that solution: IT and accounting were overloaded by manual processes, data lived in multiple places, information was being lost, and the system could no longer support growth.
CPS HR implemented SAP Litmos Commerce to centralize data and enable flexible, self-service functionality—clients can register, view transcripts, and update profiles without staff involvement—while billing and budgeting became largely automated. The platform’s customization and segmentation capabilities have driven new enrollments and year-over-year revenue growth; CPS HR now saves 20–25 staff hours per month, trains about 15,000 people annually, and plans to continue using SAP Litmos long term.
