Lions Clubs International Trains Volunteers in More Than 200 Countries With Sap Litmos

Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club with 1.4 million members in 48,000 clubs across 200 countries, needed an easy, intuitive training platform that removed barriers for volunteers who speak 13 official languages and have varying roles, ages and levels of digital literacy. The organization sought consistent, scalable leadership and role-based training that could be delivered globally while remaining flexible for local needs.

SAP Litmos delivered the Lions Learning Center with SSO, role-based learning paths (e.g., club president, secretary, treasurer, district governor), multilingual content and searchable courses. In six months more than 12,000 volunteers accessed training, user experience improved, support requests declined, learners began rating content to guide development, and the platform has strengthened global networking—while Lions plans to expand pathways for leadership, membership and service programs.
