Epping Forest District Council empowers staff to serve their community with the LMS

Epping Forest District Council, a local government authority in West Essex, was struggling to track compliance training, communicate learning opportunities, and drive accountability across teams. With 580 employees and 50 councilors, the council needed a better way to deliver employee training, leadership development, personal development, customer service, volunteer training, and instructor-led sessions, so it turned to Litmos Training and Litmos Content.

Litmos implemented an LMS and off-the-shelf training content that centralized learning, improved access for employees and councilors, and saved the team weeks of course-building time. The results were strong: engagement rose to nearly 90%, safeguarding compliance reached 94%, and health and safety compliance hit 80%.
