Alzheimer’s Society Delivers Engaging and Relevant Learning for Volunteers and Employees With Sap Litmos

Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia charity supporting people affected by dementia with over 6,000 volunteers and 2,000 staff, needed a learning solution that was engaging, clearly role-relevant and easy to administer. Their previous platform required time-consuming manual imports, lacked integration with their people management system, and made it hard for learners to see how training related to their role — while reporting needs for a health and social care organisation added further urgency.

By adopting SAP Litmos and its API integration, Alzheimer’s Society combined 1,200+ video-based courses with bespoke content to create role-specific learning pathways and automated, accurate reporting. The change cut administrative effort, reduced some face-to-face training from two days to two 20-minute modules, and drove record engagement — averaging 300 course completions a day — delivering faster, cheaper and more relevant learning for volunteers and staff.
