A Litmos Case Study
Allegan General Hospital is a not‑for‑profit acute care facility serving a rural Michigan community of about 41,000 residents, with a patient mix that includes self‑employed workers and a high proportion of Medicaid/Medicare and indigent patients. Complex patient registration rules and time‑consuming payer verification led to frequent errors, claim denials and rework that threatened revenue and strained staff.
AGH implemented the SAP Litmos Revenue Cycle education program to standardize training on registration, payer verification and the hospital’s revenue‑cycle responsibilities. The program delivered faster onboarding and clearer staff understanding, producing measurable reductions in registration errors and fewer denials and rework.
