The Trevor Project needed a scalable way to train thousands of crisis counselors and support staff each year while keeping its 24/7 crisis services running and meeting accreditation requirements. To do that, the organization turned to Litmos LMS, replacing more time-intensive live training with flexible, asynchronous learning that could work for a geographically distributed team.

With Litmos, The Trevor Project built structured learning paths, used custom reports and role-based assignments, and connected training data to Salesforce for real-time visibility. Litmos helped reduce training costs, support over 40 hours of required training per counselor, and improve tracking and follow-up across teams, while enabling the organization to train learners continuously in a 24/7 environment.
